Methodology: Compares NYC deal count (or capital deployed) for each investor in the recent window vs the same-length prior window. Investors with fewer than 4 total NYC deals are excluded. "Accelerating" = 40%+ increase in deals. "Decelerating" = 40%+ decrease. "New entrants" had no prior period activity. "Gone quiet" had no recent activity.
